COUTURE Winners Stretch Boundaries of Jewelry Design

The winners of the COUTURE Design Awards, a competition held annually at COUTURE at the Wynn, Las Vegas, were announced on Aug. 25, representing some of the very best in original fine jewelry and luxury timepiece design.

The awards are one of the highlights of COUTURE, a singular U.S. event that brings together renowned heritage brands such as Bell & Ross and David Yurman, emerging design talent, top-tier retailers such as Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus, and award-winning media outlets from around the world to collaborate and conduct business.

A panel composed of retailers, editors and one fellow designer judge each piece on the merits of design, craftsmanship and salability. All retailers vote for the three finalists in the People’s Choice Award, and the winner is voted on by text at the COUTURE Design Awards, while attending editors select the finalists and winner in the Editors’ Choice Award.

This year’s judges were Kareem Rasheed of Robb Report, Fashion Correspondent Lynn Yaeger, designer Silvia Furmanovich, Liebe Gamble of June Simmons Jewelers and Yael Reinhold Lipnik of Reinhold Jewelers.
